The strength of the Competence Centre lies in its people. Our team consists of academic and research staff with many years of experience in cybersecurity and information security, authors of hundreds of professional publications, and holders of internationally recognised industry certifications from leading vendors including Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, VMware, and others.

Director of the Institute of Computer Technology, Vice-Dean for Project Coordination and Technology Transfer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (FEI) of the Technical University of Košice (TUKE), seventeen years of experience in attack detection and prevention. Author of over seventy professional publications, holder of Check Point, VMware, and other certifications.

Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (FEI) at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Vice-Rector for Innovation and Technology Transfer. Founder of the Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory (IISLAB), which collaborates with the University of California and King's College London. Awarded the title of Best Young Scientist at TUKE 2017.

Co-founder of the Cybersecurity study programme at TUKE, expert on secure ICT design and implementation, holder of internationally recognized certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and LPIC-3 Enterprise Professional Security.

Head of the Computer Networks Laboratory, coordinator of the Cisco Networking Academy Program in Slovakia with over 15 years of experience in the creation and implementation of educational programs.

Director of the TECHNICOM University Science Park, Chairman of the Cybersecurity and Digitalization Section of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Member of the Strategic Advisory Group of the National Cybersecurity Competence and Coordination Centre.
